The Northern Ireland Economic Conference is unique in
providing a one-day forum for leaders of organisations in
both the public and private sectors to evaluate the current
and future performance of the economy, including major
trends and issues, in a reflective and substantive way.

The overall theme this year is ‘Facing the Challenges of the
Northern Ireland Economy’ which is the economic priority of
the new devolved administration.
The conference content
is largely focused on the four key areas for action, as
recommended by the pre-devolution Committee on the
Programme for Government:
• Community regeneration (urban and rural);
• Infrastructure;
• Education and skills; and
• Fiscal incentives.
