The Northern Ireland Energy Forum, now in its sixth year, has firmly established itself as the annual conference event for Northern Ireland’s energy sector. The 2008 Forum will once again bring together all the key players, both from within Northern Ireland and further afield, to focus on the most important aspects of energy policy and latest developments from across the sector. It provides a unique opportunity for all those operating within the sector to come together for one day of networking and discussion.
The sixth annual Northern Ireland Energy Forum will examine all the key issues facing energy sector decision-makers and company executives through an expert speaker panel comprised of both local and visiting speakers. The forum comes at a time of record energy prices which is particularly challenging for Northern Ireland, with its lack of developed indigenous energy resources. The forum will give delegates a sense of what is driving energy prices. The forum will also tackle the question of what the energy mix for Northern Ireland should look like in 2020.
